The tour begins at 5:30, just before nightfall, which is the transition from diurnal animals going to sleep and when the creatures of the night are just beginning to wake up.
We will start by walking for 10 minutes and stop where we will watch a breathtaking sunset.
After, your bilingual guide will lead you along the forest trials as you search for insects, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals that live in the forest and are creatures of the night.
Your guide will explain the reason that these nocturnal animals are best suited for the dark and answer any questions you may have.
Each person is given a flashlight so that they can also spot and observe on their own. Tour Includes: Transportation to Monteverde Hotels, flashlight, and bilingual naturalist guide.
Tour Lasts: 2 hours - approximately.
What to bring: Hiking boots tennis, long pants, bug repellent (some people do not find this necessary), comfortable clothes, and bring along a light rain jacket if cold or light rain. |
