We
plant organic vegetables on 1 hectare (2.5 acres).
We
produce from 15 to 20 different vegetables.
There are different sizes of production:
Small
Medium
That already in production.
We
harvest year-round.
There is a path that goes around the garden, on which we lead
the tour.

The tourist participates in the planting and gets to try a few
vegetables.
In
the middle of the tour we have medicinal plants and we explain
their natural medicinal uses.
We
explain the fertilizers and organic insecticides that are
prepared on our farm.
Next we prepare the organic fertilizer which is called vocachi,
and we see the other fertilizer we have that the California
worms produce. We do this in a large room under a roof.
At
the end of the tour we walk on a short path in a great natural
state through primary forest.
All of the production is sold in hotels and restaurants in
Monteverde.
