Organic Dairy Farm Tour

1. We produce organic milk since we do not use hormones to increase the milk production.

2. We explain the development of a calf until it becomes a cow.

3. The tourist gets to milk a cow by hand.

4. We teach them about hygiene and the care that must be taken when milking the cows.

5. We talk about common illnesses in calfs and cows.

6. We have the tourist feed milk to a calf with a pacifier.

7. The tourist learns about a machine that processes the cow feed and in what part of the year it is most difficult to produce milk.

8. We explain the process of making cheese and how our grandparents produced it.

9. We talk about the local milk production market.

10. At the end we walk on a short trail to appreciate the nature around us.

11. The guides speak Spanish and English.
